  • New collection - Create a new collection
  • Open collection - Open an existing collection
  • Collections - Pops up a list of already saved collections ⁽¹⁾
  • Save collection - Saves the current collection
  • Quit - Quit the program

    • HTML Editor - Launches the HTML editor

  • Open
    • Tópico options - Miscelenious Tópico options you can set (mostly still undocumented)
    • User options - Open the user options file (user info, preferences, editors, ...)
    • Collection List ⁽¹⁾ - Open the collection list file (used in the File menu)

      • Main CSS files - Open the main CSS file from all the collections
      • Editor CSS files - Open the styles_editor.css file from all the collections
      • Main XSLT files - Open the main XSL template file from all the collections
      • Import XSLT files - Open the import.xsl file from all the collections
  • Publish - Publish the collection
  • Backup
    • Publication (online) - Backup the publication online folder in a zip file
    • Source files - Back up the source files only (best to save textual content)
    • Images - Backup the images from the online/images folder
    • All files - Backup everything from the root folder down (this might create a big zip file)

  • Open the user guide (collection) - Open the user guide collection for editing
  • Open the feature workshop collection - Opens a collection that demonstrate different features
  • Registration - Register your copy of Tópico
  • About Tópico - Open the program's about box

⁽¹⁾ You will need to edit the collection list manually if you move or rename a collection master file (.topico).

⁽²⁾ The external editors are configured in the file topico.user.xml.
