There are different ways you can insert content in your topics.
Editing content with the XStandard editor

Inserting a reusable content snippet
To insert a reusable content snippet (defined in the Publishing tab), select the content identifier from the dropdown list above the editor. The content identifier is inserted between two %% signs. This marker is then replaced by the actual content during the publishing process.

Inserting a copy of an existing external link
To insert a copy of an existing link to an external web site (the ones begining with http://), select the appropriate links text in the drop down list above the editor. A link to the selected URL is inserted at the current cursor location. You can refresh this list by right clicking on it and selecting Refresh.
