Older Release History

This build is the first that was compiled under Windows Vista. It includes the following fixes and improvements.

New features and improvements

• The default site map and menu templates can be overridden for each collection
• The program is behaves better when it does not find some files
• Minor update to the master file format
• Introduction of a basic standalone file editor (associated with the "xhtml" extension)
• Some new and updated tutorials along with significant adjustments to the user guide
• Added the keywords to the runtime search file.

This release includes small fixes and improvements

• The compound (merged) document option is back
• The newsfeed publishing function is a bit more resilient
• The program now looks in the system folder when missing a template in the collection folder
• Small changes were made to the user interface and the default collection

The main focus of this release is to fix many issues when working with more than one language.

New features and improvements

• The default collections are now build around the YUI library
• The user interface was simplified to some extent.

Breaking changes

• Some template parameter names were changed.
  Please refer to the templates (xsl) files in the default collection to update any proprietary template you're already using.

New features

• A custom script (topico_redirect.js) was added to the default collection to redirect the browser window when opening a specific topic. A special entry in the insert.xml file was also added to make it easier to insert a redirection.
• A custom script (topico_search.js) and web page (include_form_search.xhtml) were added to provide a basic search engine for static collections. A special entry in the insert.xml file was also added to help with the insertion of the search form on any page.

Improvements

• Added the navigation property to the topics
• Added the collection properties and topic properties dialog windows
• The sub tabs under the Publishing tab were reorganized
• Backing up the source files copies all the files in the source xml folder, collecting included files that are not actual topics in the collection
• You can now sent the current language as a parameter to external scripts that are run during the publishing process

Bug fixed

• Links were not modified properly when renaming a topic
• Some general publishing properties were not read correctly

New features

• Added a menu to open targeted files from all your collections (professional users only)
• Added generic (vb) script that can be run during the publishing process
• Upgrade to the XStandard 2.0 editor component
• Added the Prince XML publishing tab (PDF publishing)

Improvements

• The search results are now presented in HTML along with the short description of the topic, making them easier to use

Bug fixed

• The topic CSS and XSL dropdowns are now refreshing properly after selecting a new file (CSS or XSL) for the collection.
