Creating New Styles

THESE PAGES ARE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND DO NOT NECESSARELY REFLECT THE CURRENT VERSION OF TÓPICO

By creating new styles and adding them to the styles drop down, you can make your documents much easier to edit. Creating new styles and making them easily usable in Tópico is a two step process:

  1. Create the CSS style in your publication stylesheet;
  2. Add the style to the dropdown list to make it easy to use.

Don't forget to update your editing stylesheet when you've modified the publishing styleshseet significantly.

Creating new styles

To create new styles, you can use the div and span elements, along with the id and the class attributes.

Adding a style to the style list

You can add styles to the following files that are found in the collection's root folder:

  • styles.html.xml
  • styles.custom.xml

You can also create your own style files and they will appear in the list when you click the Styles button as long as the file name begins with "styles".
