The HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is a markup language designed for the creation of web pages with hypertext and other information to be displayed in a web browser.
HTML 4.0
Although XHTML 1.0 is destined to replace HTML 4.01, few browsers recognize the XHTML document type to this day. Yet another reason to stick with HTML output for the time being is that using the HTML DOM to manipulate documents in the browser is still easier.
Tópico does not use HTML per say (because i'ts not an XML format) but your collection will typically be published to this format through the XSLT template.
