Working with collections

In a Tópico publication, your topics are organized into collections. Collection properties, found in the collection tab, apply to the whole publication.

Collection are created by adding topics in a tree structure, in which the first level under the root node becomes the top level me of the collection.
You can use the tree view to add, delete, reorder and re-parent the pages contained in your collection.
The Collection tab contains properties that apply to all the topics in the collection or target some options in the publishing process, like navigation links and breadcrumbs.
General properties affect how the published files are processed and produced. From deleting older published files to adding link extensions during the publishing process, the general tab is where these properties are set.
Publishing Interface Properties
User interface properties affect the content of the output publication. Here you set the different options for the breadcrumbs, menu and navigation that should appear (or not) in your online publication.
Formatting and styling your topics into a web site is done through a publishing package. Some very basic packages are installed with %product_name%.
You can also publish your collection as one big document and select other publising options through the outputs publishing tab.
